Tea Party 2011
A warm welcome was provided by Marjorie and her family at the annual Chairman’s Tea Party. The 22nd July was a lovely warm day .
Over 60 members and friends attended this ever popular event in our societies social calendar. With tea and cakes being served every one was welcome to stroll around the garden or sit in the shade and chat with fellow society members.
The raffle, Plant and Bring and Buy stall did tremendous business with every one being extremely generous with their purchasers.
We can say it was yet another record year for the “Tea Party”, with more attendees and more money raised. The Committee extends its sincere thanks to Marjorie and family, all helpers and all attendees for this significant addition to the society funds.
